DSE OPTIONS

angMOD

The angMOD angle display module allows a simplified and extremely precise display of the swivel angle of the DSE. The user-friendly one-button operation allows easy activation and referencing of the display. It is also easy to switch between absolute and relative angle display.

linearMOD

The LinearMOD module enables precise transverse adjustment of the swivel axis by means of a knurled screw with scale. It replaces the standard base plate of the DSE without affecting the tip height. With the LinearMOD, targeted offset weld seams, such as layered fillet welds, can be carried out in a repeatable manner. It also makes it easy to correct workpiece tolerances in semi-automated systems.

Closed loop stepper motor

This drive variant has a rear-mounted single-turn absolute encoder on the stepper motor, which is connected directly to the bus-compatible driver. This creates a position-monitored system that turns the DSE into a decentralized module that only requires a power supply and a bus communication connection. The driver module can be tuned for specific applications.

Open loop stepper motor

This drive variant makes optimum use of the available installation space to generate higher torques. In contrast to the closed-loop variant, the stepper motor is connected directly to a planetary gear and is controlled by an external stepper motor driver. This enables operation via step/dir signals. A rotary encoder is not used here.

Reference switch

On request, each DSE can be equipped with a reference switch in the C-axis, which maintains a repeatable reference point even after the carrier machine has been switched off. This requires the integration of a homing routine. Various sensor types are available.
